I will as well and if it really is good I want to buy the pro version and see what is different in that version. 29.99 isn't a bad price for what this is doing. I suggest to add a defrag program and it truly would be an all in one.

Keep in mind this is for 3 PC's and only for a year then you must repurchase but still not bad.

Its a great all round program for sure. But the pro version is no better than the free version, maybe a few extra little bits but all the magic you get in the free version.

This pro version was on Giveaway of the day a while back and i had both this and the free version installed and ended up removing the pro version as my copy was not updateable due to the GAOTD rules so i gained nothing. Speak to Zebs he will fill you in a little better.:speak_cool:

Hi :)
The problem with the 'full' version is simply that it can do to much & many have got carried away with it. Giving more problems than it cured.
The other aspect is that the free version is too good. So if expecting a bit more PC performance be prepared to be ever so slightly let down.
But there's a trial period, so make up your own mind.
They have a forum too. Where all the betas get posted 1st.
The SmartDefrag is also an excellent piece of s/w.

well I am totally impressed with the defrag program compared to vistas or O&O defrag nice piece of software for Vista users.

and I will probably stick with the free versionof WindowsCareV2 with what you have said and just donate to them and join their forum!!

Thanks again for bringing all of the info and testing you had done with both programs!!

Yes thank you zebadee for the info. It is quite easy to do more harm than good when cleaning the PC as this software does.

Hi :)
Just to update & fill in something I left out.
With the Pro version it can be set up so it's fully automated. Starts up with windows auto updates running in the background all the time.
Apparently there's no time trial as the only trial has limited functions. So limited that it doesn't really di anything. :giggle:
The three licences start from the same date. So if you install now on one PC, then in 3 months time install on your sons PC. Your sons PC will show the licence to have 9 months remaining.
The Pro version also has it's own reg cleaner.

Do you recommend this defrag program for xp mca 2nd ed over the default defrag program built into xp?

Charlie
05-27-2007, 06:17 PM
I run it and notice a better performance in speed and stuff on my PC and I have it on vista and on MCE 2005 edition. So I would suggest it for any OS. Oh it is free to and better IMHO.

Thanks Charlie.
Getting an answer within a minute has to be a record.
This is the only forum I know of that gets you information in a heartbeat and more often then not this information solves the problem.
Thanks again, TED

Well I see that every user gets a speedy response if they don't it is due to looking into all aspects for a possible resolution or I may need to look into it myself or try to replicate the problem a user is having but in this case it was an easy answer to reply quickly to. I hope it works as well as it does for me and feel free to ask or even post your knowledge to help others. Have a great day.

Thanks for advance windows care. I also found an interesting program called speeditup. Speed It Up FREE for Windows Vista / XP. (http://www.speeditupfree.com/), it's free as well. After I declined a few adds I didn't want I tried it. The first run took a while to clean things up but after that I could really tell the difference, especially for those who dont have alot of ram. After the first time it goes really fast and makes a big difference, well for me anyway. Hey I don't get time to chat very often but I fix all my issues by reading this forum, I think it's great.
