Hello to all. I don't know if I am in the correct place for this post as the problem is on 4 and ultimate. Its been a long time since I have put a movie on my Ipod but have done so but I have done it OK in the past. When I try to put a movie on my Classic Ipod using either 4 or Ultimate it I get message that I can't put this program on my Ipod as it does not support this format, mp4. Any help you can give me or direct me to proper place for my post would be appriciated.

Hi Charlie and Timmiester, sorry I missed your post earlier Charlie, movie is "Law Abiding Citizen". I was able to get it on my Ipod usind DNCU but still can't with DNCT4. I'm not sure I understood you instructions Timmeister so I am sending pic of the way I set it up to copy. Well I thought I was going to send pic but cant figure out how to attach.

Great to hear, sorry for any confusion. I just added Law Abiden Citizen to my son's Nana (Gen4) & watched approx. 15 minutes, played great. I will add to my iTouch after work today and view it as well.
I used the first option for Nano (Best quality) as it is the same setting for iTouch/iPhone. I am glad you got it to work.

Is this for the ITouch or the classic IPOD?

Hi Charlie, I have the Classic Ipod. As I said, I did manage to get it on my Ipod with the DNCU, so its no big deal but if there is a way to do it with the 4 I sure would like to, getting very used to using the 4 and really like it. I volunteer at hospital on Wednesday mornings so I won't be back on here until this afternoon. thanks for your response.

I got the error window as well and made a screen shot of it to pass on to get fixed. Thank you for letting us know and you are not going crazy. :)

The converting isn't the issue it is moving from the PC to the IPOD Classic that makes the error. Go ahead and test to though that way I can say 3 people can reproduce this.

Maybe the problem is a conflict with my old classic Ipod and dnc4. I never had any problems with it and dnc2 and this was the first time I tried with 3 and 4 and seems to work fine with 3.

I converted Law abiden Citizen using V4 latest vs. added to Nano Gen4 and my iTouch. I added to iPod using iTunes . Works Great.

Did some searching and this really isn't a bug but ITunes changed something in their program so an update is needed to fix this. Seems to only effect IPOD Classic players.

I just tried the lowest quality out of the choices and it now moves to the IPOD Classic and plays.
