When upgrading to the Newest Ver of DNC the program will not retrieve the serial number from the old program. Support eventho the program is registered will not give out serial number. So, if you don't have the credit card number you bought DNC with your screwed.
Do not delete your old program until you can find your Serial Number or obtain it for the poor support on lost serial numbers. Why do we have to register the program with our email address and ... if DNC cannot provide us with a lost serial number.
Support here on the fourm is great but the other side sucks. I've been messing with this for two days with no results.

Lost Product Key (serial number)
As a customer you can request your lost product key (serial number). Please note that we can only send the lost key if you activated your software with your e-mail address.
Just scroll down to the bottom of this link to do this.
Request Lost Product Key (Serial Number)
Please enter the e-mail address you used while activating the purchased software.

No bought ver 2 but with all the updates the serial number has been lost and I now have a new credit card and DNC will not give me my serial number!

So if you scroll down this is where it just asks your email you used when you did activate the software. If you didn't then to be honest I have no way of assisting you on your past purchase. Do you still use the same email address that you used when you first bought DNC? Did you keep your invoice to show later? The invoice is like an online receipt. Do you remember your original credit card number? So as I said if you used a valid email address and you still use that same one just scroll down on the link I provided and enter your email as this is all it asks for there and then the serial will be emailed to the email address that you used to activate/register your product.

After entering email address my serial number was sent to me by email.

No problem I am willing to believe that CS on their end tend to forget that little part. I was blessed to get this info and stored it on my PC as well.

The Installtion ID:
provided does not work.
Tried the above link to upgrade number and that doesn't work with above Installtion ID
I know I should not post this number put it doesn't work anyway...

Make sure you installed the DNC standard version and not the Pro installer. Its an easy mistake to make but it will not allow the standard key to work on the Pro installation. :disagree::disagree:

Here is a break down of the new products and let me add a update is free and a upgrade isn't.
DVD neXt COPY Standard = Update
DVD neXt COPY Pro = Upgrade
DVD neXt COPY PRO Plugin = Upgrade
DVD neXt COPY XPRESS = Upgrade.
So you have the standard version and will need this link to update.

But recently this year I bought the Pro Ver and paid full price.
I'm sure that's the problem you have me also listed in B and MR or something to that nature

But recently this year I bought the Pro Ver and paid full price.

Let me add that the pro version is only about 4 days old too so there is no way you could of bought the pro version years ago.

Yep i agree. It must have been the standard version you have. :agree::agree:
Try a fresh install once again but do a fully clean install using Ccleaner and manually deleting anything that is leftover.

Yes I might tell them to tell their customer in the invoice email to save it. It is always good to save things that you purchased.

Thats good news Robert. Try to activate it ( your key ) with the standard version. Hopefully all will be well and you can get back to backing up your DVD's. :agree:

This might work.
Go to system restore and go to a point before you installed the update.
If you get the older dnc on your computer then go to C: program files dvdnextcopy, open dvdnextcopy, there should be a folder dnc activation
open this and 4th line down should be the activation key.
If that is there save that file to a safe location.
