I'm a new user of DNC Pro and am having problems with program resorting movie (titlesets) into the correct playback order with AnyDVD. All I get is Coasters!! When I put AnyDVD in the SAFE Mode DNC Pro seems to do its magic and produces good copies. Using AnyDVD are there certain settings that I should be aware of, or is this the norm to put AnyDVD in the SAFE mode while using DNC Pro?
Thanks

No get anydvd out of safe mode and when you open DNC Pro make sure you tick compatibility mode so this will turn off some of DNC's stuff as DNC does some stuff that anydvd does to a point. If you're still lost look at the mini tutorial I made with pics. Let me also add don't have DVD43 or the machinist installed if you are going to use anydvd.

Only using AnyDVD, but I'm curious if there are some settings in AnyDVD that may be conflicting causing DNC Pro 2782; not to resort titlesets correctly before burn process? If DNC is in compatibility mode what functions are shut down and what functions are AnyDVD taking priority over?
Thanks

You know I have no ideal the functions in DNC that anydvd does automatically shut down it is some sort of piping process when DNC detects you're using anydvd. What version of anydvd are you using too? There was a small issue with the last few updates but are fixed now.

6.1.7.0 is the newest just released today might download that and like I said turn off same mode in anydvd and let it do it's magic and open DNC. What title are you having problems with?

The Movie "Pride" had to be copied while AnyDVD was in the SAFE Mode in order to get DNC to sort title sets correctly. I will copy more Movie Titles and see if it's not just this paticular Movie title that was causing me problems. Thanks for you help!!

No I dont charlie but havent tested the new update from anydvd as yet and wanted to rule that out first as being an issue with DNC which I see now is not! so it could be or most likely is a bad source disk or corrupt install of anydvd

Harrigan I had successful burn with the latest anydvd and DNC so now its back to that title and if its a bad source disk or settings in anydvd or DNC that is giving you issues
let me know how you make out with other titles so we can narrow it down and help you fix your problem for you

I am going to make a suggestion with this title when running anydvd could you please try the same title with everything in settings of any dvd unticked except for remove CSS please and post your results.

All DNC needs is for CSS to be removed the program does the rest there maybe a problem with the latest ANYDVD release they have changed a few things.

Nextech does everything except remove css protection built within the program so there maybe an issue running the latest version of ANYDVD and this particular title two programs trying to do the same thing at once do not always work out...........IE removing region and bogus title sets sony accross ect.

Thank You.:)

Hey MicroBurn,
Tried your suggestion on that OL'Geezer movie title "Pride" with all features deactivated, but the CSS Protection feature on AnyDVD. The results were same and the copy and burn process took over an hour. Yes my DMA is set correctly! While watching the preview screen on DNC Pro I kept getting a "No preview DNC Package Mode" while copying the movie Pride. What is this anyway? It seems somehow that putting AnyDVD in the Safe Mode allowed me to Copy this Movie title. By the way why wouldn't you suggest that AnyDVD be put in the Safe Mode using DNC Pro?
Thanks for time!

I personally have no ideal some systems work better with it I think, give the mods some time to stop by and assist your question with a better answer.

anydvd safe mode is very seldom used it conflicts with some burning apps re DNC.

I wanted you to try using only the css part of anydvd to rule out a problem with that program apparently DNC is having some trouble authoring the title sets by itself.
Anydvd removes all protections and also authors the title sets and sometimes other programs will not like them although this is rare.
DNC shows no preview when the movie being copied is under 4.3 gigs re: needs no compression.
Thank you for trying the movie out that way it helps us all as well as I am now curious as why safe mode in anydvd worked fine on this title.........I will be the first to say whatever gets the Job done is fine.
what are your read and burn times and your computer specs please?
