DVD copies freeze and jump scenes

I am running DVD next COPY V2.7.8.2 PRO (disk pkg) with Machinist – with unsuccessful results. Copies are not recognized on PC and 50% by external player. Those that player does read depixelate then freeze or jump scenes. Third I’ve tried DVD43 with same results. I’ve carefully deleted then reloaded. I’ve tried on different laptops with same (poor) results. Frustrated.

could you please tell me what blank media you are using this sounds like the cause to me.

Quality media is a must have in my opinion. Verbatim and TY are the only media we recommend here @ DNCSF.:agree:

Always burn media at a reasonable speed to obtain the best possible burns too. The rule is burn at half the medias rated speed. - So 16x stuff @ 8x and work your way up from there.

Also with "some" tittles being so long nowdays just keep an eye on the size of the original. If its getting closer to 7.5GB then you may want to use a DL media to get an exact copy with no difference between the original and a DL backup. Its hard for any standard to shrink an entire movie to half its original size and not see any setbacks.
