burn problem

I dont believe I have a software problem Its just that my burned dvd's sometimes are not good copys. The movie copy will stop or skip however the origonal will play fine. What could be the problem, is the orgonal scrached to much to copy but ok to play? Most of the other copy's play fine. I did'nt give you all the paticulars because everything seams to be working fine.

What type of media are you using to burn on? This is what I think, Also yes if there is allot of scratches this could cause issues as well.

Ok Sorry the media is GQ 4.7 16X DVD-R The origonal packaging is gone so this is all I can tell you. I purchased a pack of 100 and they were not cheap to purchase!

If the original DVD had blemished areas on it or scratches you might try to clean and buff it out or take it to a local rental company and see if they will give the disc a good cleaning for you. I had to do this myself a few times and it solved my problem. Not too familiar with GQ media and would imagine you are the other side of the U.S. meaning the U.K area or similar?

Ok I will also head to Best Buy and try to get the Verbatim's media
and try that but I will also take the movie to video store to

Can we get a bit more info please like the plugin (aka the ripper) used? Title of movie? DVD neXt COPY version used?
