Hey, I've installed program & with some trial & error have been able to burn a copy of a DVD. However, I'm having some problems on playback. When using my pc to play, the movie skips some and then it tells me the disc may be damaged/scratched??? Don't know. When I attemp to play the dvd in my (home entertainment) player it says that the disc can't be played. I made the burn to cd-r blank; the player is compatible with: dvd-r, dvd-rw, cd-r and cd-rw. Can I burn movies only to dvd - or + r???

The player (home entertainment) I have is a Pioneer DVR-633h-s and I've always used dvd-r when burning with my Pioneer and never had a problem. My burner on my pc is compatible with dvd-r media on cd-r (i think)... I'm considering upgrading my pc burner to one that's compatbile with mos all; cd +-r, dvd +-r and dual layer bla bla bla. Can any say that would or should help???

Also, just a thought, is there anyway I can install a decoder on my DVR & make life easier:dancing_b04:

Thanks
Dormie

You can't copy a DVD to a CD with this software unless you go into mobile mode and MP4 would be what would most likely be compatible. For the skips etc.... What type of media are you using? What is the quality read speed? What is the burn speed set at?

Depending on your player you can use + or - R DVD's there is no CD+R's. I can not download the users manual and see as you need to register with Pioneer to do that. I did note that it seems yours is also a BD Player too? So look at your users manual that came with the player and see what it will play disc wise and format wise as well.

I am leaning towards that the media used is one issue and the burn speed may be the other as well so please answer all these questions, thanks.
