Help:
A. Copied 1st DVD for IPOD use - MP-4 = 560meg (used H.264 128kbit at random choice). Is there a guide anywhere for which quality settings result in smaller or larger file sizes?
B. 1st DVD is 20 music videos and I just wanted one. Do I need a separate editing program to rip out the one or two I want?
C. The MP4 file from 1st DVD was saved outside the DVD neXT Copy Pro temp file? Did I miss a step?

Any help greatly appreciated!!?? Thanks!

1. The default setting that is used when you run the program will be the smallest. As for guides to what is smaller there really isn't no guides for that but I did make a simplier guide for our users, This is the one I made.

Download DNC Mobile User Guide Here ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

2. Yes you will need to do this if you just want that one video only.

3. Did you change the temp and the regular default path?

Thanks.
1. Default is smallest, thanks.
2. I don't see any instruction or steps in the DNC Mobile Users guide for getting one segment or clip out of an entire video or movie? I see all the extra steps for PSP conversion but nothing that relates to editing or clipping video?
3.I'll change the path.

Thanks!!

There is no way to only get parts of the movie or video on a DVD with this software and getting onto the IPOD nor PSP.

You are right unfortunately. Even if the DVD preview feature is used to get to the desired chapter, track or episode, the copy function goes straight back to the start of the DVD. Too bad. I'll have to go back to my I-RECORD to capture single music videos until the DVD neXT Copy developers see the light and add this functionality. I think it would be very useful and popular with users. Thanks for your help. I like this forum.

Well given that DNC Pro is only a month or so old they'll get on it I'm sure.

Curious if there is a way to keep it on the hard drive in MP4 format and can I use itunes to view the movie in this format? Also, how much luck with episodic type DVDs does this program have?

Yes or you can simply use Quicktime Player too. As for episodic disc unfortunately there is only one setting on the playback....this is after one episode is done the next starts automatically. There is no menu in mobile settings but has been requested.

How is at getting most titles?

Well I figured a 500 GB hard drive would hold around 300 movies at a decent quality for the job. Beats all those cases I have laying around trying to keep organized.

Well my episodic disc took only around 300 MB's per disc and non episodic discs were smaller using the default. There is an upgrade price of 19.99 to go pro from standard as well. :)
