Is there a way to add a configuration feature that when ripping the DVD the audio sound level could be boosted? I've ripped several movies we own with Pro and a target of PSP put the sound level is too low to really be usable by the kids in the car. Would like to specifiy the amount of gain, just like you can when you import in iTunes.

There isn't anything like this and I personally was unaware that Itunes even did this as well. I also moved your post due to you are using the Pro not the regular version. I can see what can be done on this though.

I will have to check on this and see if anything is being done. I must ask though are you using the New PSP's the slim ones? They are notorious on this issue from what I have read.

i have both,, old heavy black one and new slim silver one that SANTA brought me and the sound STINKS on both.
~~~~~~
I did just have a problem on the old one i was watching Death Sentence to make sure it worked and 5 minutes into it the movie stopped playing and stated video can't be played.
This burning stuff is new to me Charlie and i want to do most of my copying to the PSP ( memory stick) so i can watch the movie at work , it's smaller then a portable DVD player and it also can play games. So would you have any GOOD TIPS on how to get the BEST OUT OF IT ?? with the least trouble. Copy movie only,?? use USB cable when copying ?? etc ...
Um the best way is to copy it then transfer it to the PSP I never recommend to copy and move the same time too many errors can occur, As for movie only that's what happens when you use the mobile settings. May I ask what firmware you are on as I am stuck on mine right now but I use custom firmware and my sound was always decent tell you though it was way better using the head phones though.
If i new how to tell what kind of frimware i have i would tell you. What ever came with it back in 2003. How about you tell me what kind to use and where to download it from or how to update it and i will do that.
As for your advice of copy it then transfer it, i am really slow with this computer stuff. and i try and follow all your links and directions that you give.---- so how does this sound,,,i copy movie to the temp. folder-- then open the temp folder-- put in my memory stick open memory stick blank page,--- then i drag and drop the movie from temp folder to the memory stick.----- or i did ,from temp folder highligted movie right clicked and clicked send to memory stick using the USB Cable.
First we need to know what firmware you are on and then we can proceed from there. To check click HERE (http://www.dvdnextcopysupportforum.com/showthread.php?t=1809) and let me know. I post all the firmware updates here as well The Slim most likely has 3.60 or 3.71, like I said this is common from what I have hears from Tony one of our staff here. So we'll focus on the PSP Phat as we call the big one on the net. :)
