Just checked in and wanted to say hi. Just purchased a copy of DVD neXt Copy Xpress. Worked as simply as advertised - at least once I figured out I needed a plug-in for backing up encrypted DVDs.

Spent a few minutes checking out the forum - gotta love forums - lots of helpful folks out there.

Genereal question - is there a preference for the plug-in (machinist or DVD43 or others)? Also can they co-exist?

Hi OldDawg.

For free the machinist is recommended. For paid AnyDVD and no they can't be installed the same time usually there is a conflict on average if 2 decrypters are running.

I second Charlie's View. :agree: Personally i own Anydvd as i bought it years ago and its just stayed with me all this time. :giggle: Its the best but its not free, Although the machnist2 with DNC is not far behind and they work wonderfully together. Best of all machinist2 is FREE.

At the moment I would recommend avoiding DVD43 as it has not been perfected with DNC as the machinist2 has at the moment.
