Hi

Having a similar problem, after a successful rip 1.36 minutes into the burn it stops and tells me i have an error. Ruining the disc. It only happens on 2007 movies. Can you help?

Charlie

What brand of media are you using? When was the last time you ran a pc cleaner on your hard drive? When was the last time you dragged? Do you use Norton

surfkid
01-18-2008, 09:47 PM
did a disc clean up, don't have norton. still having problem works for older movies but not 2007 movies i am backing up. What do you mean by drag?
use TDK from costco.

Charlie

surfkid
01-19-2008, 05:12 PM
ok did the defrag, the rip went fine as usual, but with only 6 minutes left in the burn process i get a medium write error and it kicks out the blank disc???
The backup dvd is playing now but i suspect it won't play the entire movie. what should i do now? By the way it worked when i burned a foreign film as back up.

Charlie

Can you hover the mouse over the ISO or the VIDEO-TS folder and tell me the size please?

surfkid
01-19-2008, 08:49 PM
4.38 gigs

Charlie
01-19-2008, 08:52 PM
OK it needs to be 4.35 gigs or less so you'll need to redo the title (sorry) and instead of using DVD5 in the settings choose custom and then the 4464 box to the right will light up now in there you need to put in this number 4200. Then it'll get the whole DVD and then you can enjoy. :)

Charlie
01-19-2008, 09:17 PM
You just changed the size of the compression. So it is a bit more compressed but not by much. Glad to of helped.

surfkid

Charlie
02-11-2008, 09:04 PM
DNC doesn't require a username and password sometime the links we post may require you to sign in which is the same as you use to sign onto the forum. If you do it once and select remember me it doesn't happen.

Tony

you want me to uninstall DNC and install updated software which will require user name and password, don't have it

all you need to do a clean install is your serial number sent to you when you purchased Dvdnextcopy do you have that?

if not do you still have dvdnextcopy installed?

Vinman
02-11-2008, 09:39 PM
On your main drive under program files you will find dvdnextcopy folder, in it will be a log folder, in there will be a dnc activation text document, open it and there is your registration information copy that key you will need it for the updated version after your clean install! its that simple!

DNC Inc. Sends out emails to their paying customers so there is no need to say I didn't know of an update and we are very familiar with that version and below being capable of using a crack or hack. Not saying you are but we are on the verge to be on version 3 and you are still using version 2 from the first few months after released. Suggest to use version 2.9.8.5 and do a clean install on this version too please.

Tony
02-16-2008, 11:15 AM
I will add to charlies post that if you purchased it from a site we would like to know which one too please we don't want customers getting what they think is a deal and their money stolen.

if you indeed purchased it from dvdnextcopy.com

send a support ticket to them with your email address you used when you purchased it and see if they can resend the info.

Also after uninstall reboot then do the search.

I would personally run them both. Ccleaner just cleans basic crap and clutter and AWC2 is the complete comb through the disc. great combination.

Charlie
02-18-2008, 02:08 PM
Click on ccleaner the registery icon and then run and say fix issues and keep running you'll be surprised.

OK when you need to redo the title it isn't compressing correctly. So delete that file so you can redo this title and do this.

1. Put the original disc in the dvdrom drive.

2. select new and instead of DVD-5 select custom. Now the white box that say 4464 lights up. type 4200 in that then hit ok now make your back up. Let me know as this should work.
