CPU Temp

I am running a full load and both cores are maxed out right now and the CPU temp is between 53° to 54° is this about average on a max load? Running a E6600 C2D not OC'd.

I've had lower. 49 max.
But yours isn't a problem though.
In fact probably typical.

That's what I was thinking considering it was a full load constant on top of that and using all stock parts.

My 49 max was with stock H/S/F.
When changed to Artic 7, temp in these conditions dropped by just over 9 degrees.
Nearly 15 under standby.
But my mobo has better cooling.
Part of the difference between the 680i SLI & the 680i LT SLI.
