Morning all:

I downloaded the latest version of Pro this week and now I am having trouble ripping to my ipod. I have been saving my files as iso files and in the previous version I could do this but now I cannot convert to mobile with these files.

Here's what I am doing:
Ripping movie using DNCpro as iso file to my hard drive. Once done, I went into "new" selected iso file, next screen I choose "mobile" and the screen that used to appear showing the different resolutions, bit rates, etc is no longer showing up.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Run a pc cleaner like ccleaner and or advance windows care personal (both free) and do a reboot and see if that helps.

running ccleaner now, will let you know. I am guessing by your response that you do not see this problem.

Thanks.

Did all that you said and mobile options still do not show up when I click mobile. So, again, I am new, open iso file and then picking mobile. Correct? I've done this before on the previous DNC version and it worked.

Yes. Try to make a video_ts folder instead and see if the options comes up.

I have other video_ts folders and just tried one and it works with those, just not with iso files. Any thoughts on what I should do next?

Did you already get a working copy of Mr. Woodcock?

Yes, I have Mr. Woodcock saved as an iso and it burned ok, but I could not move it to my ipod because it's an iso file...same problem.

Reinstall DNC 2.9.8.4 over the old no need for a clean install and see if this fixed your issue. I can't reproduce so I am shooting in the dark here.

Same issue--no luck. One more question on a change, I downloaded Virtual Drive (on accident, actually). Could this have anything to do with it? I'll go look for it to unistall it.

Not sure as I can't even test it. I would to see for yourself and to show others as well.

It should be labeled VDrive.

I just did converted iso files earlier this week. I have an itouch. I can convert video_ts, just not iso.

You mean it should look like another drive letter or that it's a program?

Vdrive - The DVDneXtCOPY VirtualDrive is a virtual CD and DVD-ROM drive enabling you to use your images as if they were a medium that is inserted into a device on your computer. And best of all, the DVD neXt COPY Virutal Drive is a FREE Bonus gift to anyone who either purchases DVD neXt COPY Pro or DVD neXt Copy Standard.

So since it is going to emulate a DVD Drive then yes there is a drive letter which one you may ask I have no ideal as I don't own your system and know what's on it.

Whenever I convert in itunes it just locks up--takes so long I don't think it works properly.

Regarding control panel--then what?

I just tried every iso file I have, probably 8 of them, half of them worked. What did not was ones I have already burned to a disc and they play ok so I think the file is fine.

Get the Original DVD and make it a mobile format. This is the only thing I know to do for you now.

Hi Marge,
I dont think this is a v-drive issue this is an issue converting iso format to mpeg4 format for your Itouch and from what I have read so far its not doing it on some not all of your iso files that you have saved correct? Or are you trying to load the iso into Itunes? lets start all over let me know exactly what steps your taking to convert your movies to ipod and will go from there as I am familiar with both ipod and itouch and have converted for both with no issues but have not converted any iso formatted movies just ones straight from my dvd to ipod I will try some in iso format and see how that goes I always use the default folder withen dnc to save any movies I convert to avoid issues with transfers anyways get back to me so we can work this out together
