Your awsome i am backing up my first disc now. whats the easiest way to put them on an external drive. i would like to stream them through my 360 and view them on the big screen. have you heard of this being done or am i just wasting my time

make a folder on your external drive for your movies.
open DNC & click on the SETTINGS tab
there will be a Files and Folders about half way down
the top box is named PROJECT LIBRARY
click the BROWSE button & navigate to the folder you made on your external drive
double click on the folder & that will be your project library
i do not have a 360 so i cannot speak to that but another mod or user will be able to

The very first VOB is what you want to start to play and the others will follow automatically.

Please read this guide. It has some very good info that may answer alot of your questions. It is in PDF format so you will need the Adobe Reader to view it.
