I recently loaded DNC and Vdrive and seem to have problems getting the vdrive to playback correctly. I have seen this posted before but haven't found a solution to the problem. I have no trouble creating the ISO image and mounting it into the vdrive. When I try to watch via PowerDVD or Windows Media Center or Windows Media player, the picture is very choppy and pixelatted. If I save the image as a Video_TS file there are no problems at all with playback. The problem here is that I want to utilize Windows Media Center for playback and it requires a DVD to be mounted in a dvd drive. I have an HP M8120N computer w/intel Q6600 quad core running windows vista 32 bit, 4G ram, 8800gt video card. Thanks, Doug

Media Center does require a disk present in the drive but you should be able to view Video_TS files in Media Player with no problems

Nope not at all good system pretty sad to use such power for the 32 bit in my opinion though. I wonder if vdrive has issues with the quad core CPU's?

I have no trouble reading Video_ts files at all with Media player and PowerDVD. The problem is I want to utilize Media Center so I can load up all my movies on my hard drives. I like the Media Center interface much more so I need the ISO images to run properly with the vdrive.

I have tried to do as you are trying with no luck so I gave up on it. Maybe someone else has the answer. Sorry.

I know, I'm still in the process of fully upgrading my system. Next step is XFX 780i motherboard and Vista 64bit.

Vdrive isn't something that's updating regularly at all. Since you are on the 32 bit try this program here. This is a free program as well. :)
Download This! (http://static.slysoft.com/SetupVirtualCloneDrive.exe)

Hooray! Looks like it works, at least on this one movie. I will load up a couple more in ISO format and give them a try as well. Thanks soooo much!

Go to this site to view video files recognized by WMC MEDIA CENTER (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/17cb9499-6634-4812-a760-a86ba45af5201033.mspx#EBC)
It appears that Media Center will play MPEG files. So I am going to experiment a little.

Yes I have ben begging for an update but you have to remember DNC didn't make this another company did for DNC. So as you see there is allot of hoops involved.
