Need some help again, Was able to copy 12 movies then did use the computer for awhile. First it gave me a runtime error, Saw posting on that and reinstalled DNC. Now I am getting this problem with not burning, stopping st 0.06 again. I have checked and delete files in temp file.

Runtime errors can be from various things. ReadMeToo is our expert on getting this solved but for the meantime try this.

Check and see if your player has the latest firmware, check for scratches on the DVD might give it a good cleaning as well and try again. Also try ripping it with a different drive and saving it to the hard drive then start again to burn that project if that went well.

I tried to follow some links on firmware. It looks like it is not an easy process for a novist, or am I not in the right spots. Did Google search. Unable to realy find out anything about the lastest for HP 300e. I don't understand.

Download VSO Inspector then install it there is a way to check firmware on that.

vso inspector CD and DVD scanning reporting tool test if your media is read error free (http://www.vso-software.fr/products/inspector/inspector.php)

Try this:

THE FIX for run time error

RunTime Error : Program: C:\program files\dvdnextcopy2\dvdnextcopy2.exe
Start > Programs > Accessories> Command Prompt (right click.. run as Administrator)

a black box will appear ... then type

SFC / scannow (enter)

(works in both XP and Vista as long as you have Admin rights.)

This will do a check to make sure your system files are the correct versions
This can sometimes sort out problems like these.

Thanks to ReadMeToo for the info.

figment41
04-03-2008, 11:31 AM
100 Mbps What is an ISO?

Smduff
04-03-2008, 11:35 AM
An ISO image is an archive file (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archive_file) (a.k.a. disk image (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_image)) of an optical disc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_disc) using a coventional ISO format that is supported by many software vendors. ISO image files typically have a file extension (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_extension) of .ISO but Mac OS X (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X) ISO images often have the extension ".CDR". The name "ISO" is taken from the ISO 9660 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_9660) file system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_system) used with CD-ROM media but the term ISO image can refer to any optical disc image (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_disc_image), even a UDF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format) image.

Not sure what you guys are talking about, but let me know what I need to do. Is this something that can be emailed.

Charlie
04-03-2008, 02:20 PM
I'll know more in a few. The link to download will most likely be emailed to you and then there is only X number of days to download it. From there then we can assist you to burn the ISO. Don't worry about giving your email as I can access that for him to email you just state a good time to start would help and give him time to upload the ISO as well. I'll let him take it from here and just provide him with your email if needed.

Ok here is how to get your software replaced with official MS XP Pro software call this number.

Telephone
(800) MICROSOFT (642-7676)

Be sure to tell them you damaged your disk and broke it anything dog ate it and you need a replacement you will only have to pay shipping in most cases or a min fee, but this will get you a MS XP Pro disk they will ask you for the key you verified with me .

The more you sound desperate and urgently in need the faster they will get it to you , tell them you are trying to correct a runtime error an need the disk as quick as possible your project for work counts on the fix.

ReadMeToo

Let me know if there is any problem they normally replace with no problem , DO NOT SAY YOU BOUGHT THE MACHINE WITH OUT SOFTWARE.

YOU BROKE IT OK, THEY LIKE DOG CHEWED IT UP!!
