I recently purchased DVDneXt Copy Pro online and installed it. Registered it with the number given in the email and everything seemed to be going well. Finally figured out that I needed Machinist2.dll and had a challenge finding it since the link given doesn't work. Installed it and started trying to copy some of my DVD's to archive them. (Protect the originals from the kids) The software seems to run fine and it says that the process has completed successfully. But when I try to play the copy they don't work. When I put it in the computer's DVD drive they show up as a CD in Explorer and at the end of the burn there has only been around 3MB copied. This happens in Pro and Xpress. Please help!
As far as hardware goes. I have a 2.4Ghz Quadcore with 4GB of Ram, WinXPPro SP3 with 2 HP dvd1040 drives.
Have tried Machinist2.dll and am now trying ANYDVD. I have used Memorex, HP, and Verbatim media. There hasn't been any difference in the results between any of them.
Have tried creating an ISO image and that works fine and creates a directory that is 4.35GB in size.
I am getting pretty fed up and have a substantial pile of worthless DVD's.
There is a screen capture in my member's picture album showing typical results of an attempt at copying.

anydvd dosn't need to be disabled if it's your only decrypter if your using the machinist.ddl then remove anydvd if you haven't bought it I personally only use anydvd and not the machinst it's a personal choice for the user, but make sure you ONLY USE DECRYPTER ever they will interfear with each other and reek havic on your system.

I was thinking HP burners were not great so this shows that. I am glad you are up and running and the LG drive to top that off is a great choice in a burner too.
