Remember unless you used DVD Rebuilder which would takes hours not just 1 hour :tounge: DNC uses more less an encoder and others use transcoders :) I have to say. I am sure my machine is more powerful than yours? My times are under 20 minutes including the burns.

Core 2 Duo?
My 3.0 with 2 gigs takes about that amount of time but I am using a LG drive that are not fast readers.

No offense as I know not everyone has the money but it is a bit outdated on hardware so the time seems right. As for the other program doing it faster.......
DNC uses a encoder the others use a transcoder
I prefer quality over speed personally. Also note you need to change the burn settings because at default it is set to burn at 12x and if you have got the right media you can burn at 20x or even 22x, You'll need the right drive to do so as well.

Hello Whitelab,
Welcome to this fine forum!
Could you please provide more information, such as:
Details about your machine
Movie trying to copy, blank media?
decrypter used?
Were you doing anything, while DNC was active?
Take Care

With the economy the way it is right now do you really want to do this as you'll need new RAM and maybe only maybe a new power supply plus the right dvd drive too. So as you see it has more to do with a combo rather than the one or 2 things. I'll gladly as well as the other members here will gladly suggested stuff if you truly want to upgrade your stuff. Also is the PC in question a personal build or store bought?

See what other users here say if it get to be what I said then we can throw together a system if you want.
whitelab It takes me about 35 to 45 minutes to rip and burn a movie using V3. I have a
Intel 975XBX S775 DDR2 motherboard
Intel core 2 duo e6300 1.86G/2mb
4GB DDR2 667mhz ram
So with your system the time should be about right.
