DVD neXt COPY neXt Tech™ V4.0.2.9 and DVD neXt COPY Ultimate V3.0.7.6 Released

I haven't been able to create a "backup" DVD since I upgraded to neXtTech. The DVD will play on the computer, not my Samsung or Panasonic. Maybe this update will help . . . . I have been able to successfully back up with Brand X.

Please feel free to start a help thread and we'll gladly try to get you fixed. If there is a bug then it can be reported.

WEB SITE DOES NOT SHOW V.0.2.9 SHOWS .8
when this program works it is very good but as with any program when it does not it is very bad.
I had great hopes for the auto updater in ver 4, but as of today, not much hope

They are sometimes late in changing the wording on their website but if you update it will be the new version. The splash page will also change when they change the version numbers.

There is no auto update mode in this program you have to update it manually by downloading and installing it. We release it here on the forum well before it shows on their website.

Correct.

I installed both version 3 and 4 updates, just fine. 4 ran immediately, 3 needed s/n and email, then ran. Why I have 3 and 4? Maybe just because I can!

I have all 3 programs installed, Pro/Ultimate/v4. So I can help when and as needed.

I have Pro in my downloads and I ran it and 3 on Vista. On 7 I installed 3 and along came 4. Sometimes 3 works in ways 4 won't, no?

Yes I fully inderstand, but when the page is a bit late in showing the update, then it seems the updater does not work, however today the new update program did work i did not have to contact tech support for a new number.

These programs are great, the best quality picture on the market today, premium transcoders.

Good Evening. My apologies if not responding to the right thread. (I guess I should spend a little time roaming around this forum!) For now, please, a Simple question: how really valuable are Tech's features over simply using Ultimate? Thank you for replying AND your patience.

When you need an update to backup the latest title vs. making a working bin file to backup the latest title so there is no wait it become invaluable.

I have not been able to get V4 to work properly. It keeps telling me that can't find windows service and when I try to update the software manually it gives me a different message. I have put in a ticket (#70634) over the weekend and the tech person told me that someone would respond witin 48 hours - that was Saturday and today is Wednesday and no response. Such a shame since I have been using this software forever, it seems. V4 was working for a few weeks and then it just stopped working and I have not added any hardware or sofware that could have caused this problem. I guess I will continue to wait and keep using Ultimate, which works fine.
