    DVD's keep skipping whole segments

    My DVD's Keep skipping whole segments and I can't rewind or fast-forward. Also can't jump to seines I've done everything I was told to do, I didn't have this problem with AnyDVD--just Machinist. Any ideas????

    what version # of DNC and what media to burn to do you have name brand please and is this happening on all backups now or just one title if only one title the name of it please.

    I have a "Lite On" DVD-RW 20A1H LLOC, the latest NextCopy(2.9.8.5), burning on Staples DVD+R 16x (recommended) and I only have had problems with Machinist and not AnyDVD. "The Bourne Ultimatum" is the movie I'm having trouble with now....

    do you still have anydvd or was it just a trial although I seriously doubt that would be the difference is there any way you can exchange it and pick up a new disc to try?

    No, the skipping happens toward the end of movies, for the most part. But some movies have more problems then others, and when I burn off of movies that I already burned the problem gets worse. And try to jump to a seine the DVD freezes....

    skipping toward the end of the movies is ususauly caused by poor media and even if its verbatium brand you can still get a bad batch try in the first window that pops up when you insert the movie please and in the drop down bar select custom and set it @4200MBS and retry. there are three options dvd9 or dvd5 which you are using and custon mode.

    it looks like the burn is burning too far to the outer edge by setting the default setting from 4684 to 4200MBS it will not burn to the very outer edge.

    Burn at 12 or 8x instead of max.

    Staples brand media is not recommended! We recomend Verbatim or TY's. We also recommend +r and bit setting to -r for the compatibility.

    One thing I dont recommend is burning off of already transfered video's not a good idea, if your going to do that use a standard copy program as there is no longer any protection on it
